ULS Wireless clients now able to self-topup

We have seen a critical need for our wireless clients to be able to self-topup their accounts. We have implemented this functionality and it is now possible for our clients to top-up their own accounts.

In order to do this you need a login on wireless.uls.co.za, after you have logged in, you should be redirected to your “Client” page, on the middle of which you should find a block labelled “Pre-paid topups”. A little misnamed now, but alas, the original idea was that you pay for X number of 1GB topups and then they get loaded in 1GB increments as needed (over whatever period, be it a week, two weeks, a month or even a year). However, the demand was there to be able to control this from a client perspective and so we decided to allow our clients to self-load topups here. You should find (next to the label) a small hyperlink that says “new”, clicking on this will bring up a popup toward the right of the screen prompting for the cap type (unless you have multiple accounts of different types there will only be one option here – otherwise be sure to select the right type), the amount (in GB), and a short reference (for your own purposes, we put reference number of the associated email to accounts@uls.co.za here, but since you, the client, are now self-loading you should put a reference here that would make sense on your invoice at the end of the month).

Note that the topup’s loaded using this mechanism will still roll over, so if you load 100GB you will be invoiced for the full 100GB at the next billing cycle, but the 100GB will be used to top up your account in 1GB increments as and when needed, whether this is over 1 day, 10 days, a month, a year, or even longer.
